These pages contain some useful information for anyone wishing to learn more about IT & cyber security. They are all working documents in that I will be updating them and adding new content as I get opportunity, or if the technology changes.

The world of cyber security can often feel too large and complex for many people to wrap their head around, and whilst it is true – cyber security IS a large and complex field, it can be broken down into a relatively small number of concepts, which IF understood and implemented correctly will greatly reduce the risk of a cyber attack being successful.

These pages provide an overview of many of these concepts.

There are many different ways a threat actor can target a victim, the more you know about these attacks and how they are designed to work, the better you can protect the systems you own, and the data that resides within them.
