The gang announced they had compromised the Sony-owned games company just over a week ago and had offered the 1.3 million file cache for a bitcoin equivalent price of $2M USD.
No one came forward to pay the ransom, so late on Monday night, the gang opened up the files to all for free download.

The leaked data is purported to contain both staff and customer PII, commercial data – including a contract between Sony and Marvel, and and development code for upcoming games such as Wolverine.

File downloads
The leaked files are available as three separate downloads due to their size, but only 98% of the stolen data is available. The Rhysida site says that only the not sold data has been uploaded, which indicates 2% of the stolen data has been purchased by someone.
