Lidl, the discount supermarket popular across most of Europe has been removing four types of Paw Patrol branded snacks from its shelves and issuing a recall on previously sold products in a move that normally suggests a manufacturing fault, or contaminated goods.

However, this recall has nothing to do with the sugary snack, but more to do with an unsavoury URL on the packaging.

The recall has been posted in all Lidl stores, on the company website, and across social media channels

The dodgy URL in question is appykidsco.com which if viewed in a PC/laptop based browser takes you to a website written in Chinese which, when translated informs you that the website is temporarily unavailable.
