It’s been a quiet few weeks for Lockbit – presumably they have been away for a summer break, but it looks like they’ve been busy in the background as there has been a flurry of activity on their dark web leak site in the last couple of days.
The 30th of August saw LockBit release details of 20 new victims, and the next day saw another 8 victim details posted.

Most of the recent victims are organisations in Europe, with the largest number of victims located in France.

Europe has certainly been a target for Lockbit over the summer, with the Spanish police releasing a press statement on the 28th August advising people to be cautious of spam emails as a number of attempted attacks on architectural companies had been seen, and that it was probable that the attacks could be expanded to other industry sectors.

Lockbit have had a very productive year almost doubling the number of victims claimed in 2022 and they still have another 4 months to claim more – So its not surprising they needed to take a holiday.
